Gov Okpebholo Reconstitutes AAU Governing Boards, Appoints PDP Vice Chairman [Full List]

Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has approved the reconstitution of the Governing Board of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

Naija News reports that this was made known in a statement on Tuesday by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor.

Okpebholo named the National Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dan Orbih, as the Chairman of the Board.

He stated that the appointment of the individuals to constitute the membership of the Governing Council, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, is with effect from December 31, 2024.

The statement reads in part: “It is hereby announced for the information of the General Public that the Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo has approved the reconstitution of the Goverming Council, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

“The Members are:
i. Chief Daniel Osikheme Orbih- Chairman
ii. Martins Osakwe- Member
iii. Prof. Steve Amiemenkharu Iyayi- Member
iv. Hon. Lukman Muhammad- Member
v. Prof. Idialu Jeremiah Uwaifo- Member
vi. Prof. Eric Kelly Inanemo Omogbai- Member
vii. Prof. Omoruyi Ikponmwonse Osahon – Member”
