The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmad Umaru Fintiri, has signed the state’s 486.2 billion 2025 budget into law.

Governor Fintiri said the budget would help his administration in achieving his promises to the citizens of the state.

At the signing event on Monday, Fintiri said Adamawa would compete among the top states in the country. He assured of efficient implementation of the budget titled ‘Budget of Service’.

Today, I signed the 2025 Appropriation Bill, the Budget of Service, into law—a blueprint for progress and a vista of hope for Adamawa State. With this budget, we are charting a path to sustainable development and positioning Adamawa to compete among the top states in Nigeria. Adamawa will emerge stronger,” he said.

Fintiri further commended the state’s House of Assembly for the speedy passage of the budget. He re-emphasized his commitment to good governance in the state.

Naija News reports that the budget’s total sum is  ₦486,218,047,600, tagged the ‘Budget of Service’ to the Adamawa State House of Assembly.

Presented the budget to the House on Monday, December 16; Fintiri said it reflected his commitment to transparency, accountability, and impactful development for the people.

A breakdown of the budget shows an allocation of ₦137,256,217,610 or 28.23 percent for recurrent services and ₦348,961,829,990 or 71.77 for capital projects
