Engr. Nimrod Musa, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s sports community as the President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, has leveraged his platform not only to promote sports but also to foster social responsibility. Known for his passion for philanthropy and community development, he has been at the forefront of various charitable initiatives aimed at supporting less privileged communities across the nation.
This medical outreach aims to provide comprehensive healthcare services including the diagnosis and treatment of various ailments, screening for chronic illnesses, and educational programs on health and wellness. Medical professionals from different specialties will volunteer their time and expertise, conducting consultations, providing necessary medications, and offering preventative health measures to the underserved population in Garaha and surrounding areas.
“This initiative is not just about providing medical aid; it’s about empowering individuals with knowledge and resources to better their health outcomes,” said Engr. Musa in a statement. “We need to bridge the gap in access to medical care, especially in rural areas where such services are often scarce. Everyone deserves the right to basic healthcare.”

The outreach attracts a substantial turnout, as thousands of community members will benefit from this gracious act. To ensure the program’s success, collaboration has been established with local health authorities and community leaders, who are actively promoting the outreach and encouraging residents to attend.
Alongside the medical services offered, educational workshops is also conducted to impart knowledge regarding hygiene practices, nutrition, maternal health, and preventive measures against prevalent diseases. The initiative aims to foster a culture of health awareness that persists beyond the outreach itself.
As preparations for the event escalate, local enthusiasm continues to grow. Community members have expressed gratitude for the medical aid, recognizing that many have been reluctant to seek healthcare due to financial constraints.
“Many people here cannot afford medical treatment, and this is an opportunity for them, which I truly believe will change lives,” said one of the locals.
