According to Chelsea fans, Mikel was not professional in addressing the issue and deserved ‘shut up’ by Nicolas Jackson. The London derby Premier League match between Chelsea and Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge resulted in a 1-1 draw.

Nicolas Jackson, assisted by Cole Palmer, put the “Blues” ahead halfway through the first half.

Eberechi Eze restored parity in the 54th minute with a well-placed goal into the right corner.

Chelsea had opportunities to win the game and score again, but they failed to take advantage of them.

Reactions to Nicolas Jackson, Mikel Obi and Victor Osimhen saga

After the game, Chelsea fans took to social media to express their thoughts.

The Blues dominated the trends and expected another win after a 6-2 thrashing of Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.

Goalscorer Jackson was again highlighted for his performance in the draw.

Jackson not only scored but also provided an assist, sealing Enzo Maresca’s first victory as manager last week.

The 23-year-old was visibly offended by remarks made about the team by former Chelsea player Mikel Obi who spent 11 years at Stamford Bridge and won three Premier League titles as well as the Champions League.

The striker controversially used Instagram after the game to reshare that statistic and criticize club great John-Obi Mikel.

While Chelsea supporters accused referee Anthony Taylor, Mikel criticized the 23-year-old after Chelsea’s loss to Manchester City in the opening weekend.

Last week some fans were of the opinion that Mikel did not address this situation professionally so he deserved what Jackson said.

Now after two goals in two games, Chelsea fans believe that Jackson has shut up Mikel.

They also now have full confidence in Jackson claiming they do not need Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen again.
