In his post, Bamiloye also addressed critics of the recently concluded Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) convention, which took place from August 5 to August 11, 2024. He urged those who criticized the event to reflect on the spirit guiding their actions, suggesting that it may not be in line with the right spirit.
Bamiloye drew a comparison between the criticism of the RCCG convention and the 2024 Olympics, which he claimed mocked Jesus Christ during its opening ceremony. He suggested that those who celebrate the Olympics but criticize a gathering focused on worshiping Jesus Christ might not be among those taken when Jesus returns for His followers.
