In the post that he shared on his official X handle, he said his mother died after spending 99 years and six months. He however, appreciated the governor of Rivers state, Siminalayi Fubara, Aisha Yesufu and many other people who attended the event that was held in Abonnema, Rivers state.

“We buried my Mum today. I give God the glory for a life well spent. 99 years and six (6) months is no joke. Thank you Gov Sim Fubara, Aisha Yesufu and several others who are too many to name. Your presence in Abonnema, Rivers State today was invaluable”
