A performance by Drag Queens attempting to recreate da Vinci’s painting of Jesus’ Last Supper sparked outrage among Christians, who deemed it blasphemous.

In a statement on his X handle, Fani-Kayode condemned the act as an “unacceptable” insult to Christianity and claimed that if Islam had been similarly targeted, Paris would be experiencing severe backlash.

He wrote: “This gratutious insult on Christianity at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics is unacceptable. Nothing depicts the moral, religious and social degeneration of the West more than this show of shame. If they had insulted Islam in this way Paris would have rightly been on fire by now.

“Sadly Christians are far too accommodating and weak and are comfortable with their faith being rubbished at every turn. I would be going too far if I suggested that someone should have dropped a b*mb on them all at this ceremony but the least we can do is to boycott the Olympics and refuse to even watch it on television.
