Palace have backed their man to the hilt really and in a late move on deadline day, Palace have once again done a deal.

This time, swooping to sort out a loan deal to bring in Chelsea defender, Trevoh Chalobah.

Crystal Palace agree deal to sign Trevoh Chalobah

According to a report from The Athletic, Palace have made their move on Chelsea and come to an agreement to sign Chalobah on loan for the season.

Palace have been looking for a new centre-back after selling Joachim Andersen to Fulham and they seem to have now struck gold with Chalobah.

The Chelsea defender, like Raheem Sterling, has been told he won’t be part of the plans under Enzo Maresca and was actively seeking a move.

Chalobah has now got that move by landing a deal with Palace in which he will hope to impress enough to make it a permanent one down the line.

Palace have also had a huge success this summer in keeping hold of Ebere Eze.

The England midfielder has stayed put despite Michael Olise leaving and heavy interest from the likes of Tottenham.

Chalobah has a point to prove

Chalobah probably feels a touch hard done to in that he’s done little wrong really and been shown the door by Enzo Maresca.

However, with every disappointment comes a new opportunity and that’s what he has at Palace right now.

Chalobah has already proven in the past he can be a Premier League player and alongside Marc Guehi, he might just thrive again.
