Fr. Ugwu, who has been vocal about the ministry’s deception and hypocrisy, attached a picture of the ministry’s leader, Ebuka Obi, whom some members have “deified”. He challenged the ministry’s lawyers to sue him for using the picture, saying “I am doing this to challenge and dare all those lawyers of yours who said they would sue me for using his picture. Please go ahead and do it quickly.”

The priest’s comments come after he was subjected to a barrage of insults and personal attacks from members of the Zion Ministry, who accused him of being a “useless boy”, “bastard”, “jealous priest”, and “tool for the devil”, among other names.

Fr. Ugwu, however, remains unfazed, saying “I count my blessings and my insults too. I have screenshots of all the insults and the people who used them.”

The priest has been critical of the Zion Ministry’s practices, which he says are not in line with Catholic teachings.
