A young man from Delta State shared a heartbreaking story of how he unknowingly sacrificed his only sister in a quest for wealth. His friend asked, “Can you do what I do to make money?” The boy replied, “I can do anything to get rich.” Hearing this, his friend promised to help and took him to a mysterious place.

When they arrived, the boy met a group of people who told him there was no turning back. They informed him that he must sacrifice someone he loves the most to become wealthy. He responded that his mother had already passed away and that he didn’t have anyone else he loved as much.

A few moments later, the group blindfolded him and handed him a knife, instructing him to strike the knife into the ground inside the shrine. He did as they instructed. After some chanting and rituals, they removed his blindfold and told him it was done.

Three days later, his only sister suddenly fell ill. He rushed her to the hospital, but the medical bill was far beyond what he could afford. Desperate, he asked the doctor for time to find a loan.

To his utter shock, when he returned home, he found his house filled with money. Confused but excited, he quickly grabbed ₦300,000 and rushed back to the hospital. Tragically, by the time he returned, his sister had died. At that moment, he remembered the words of the ritualists: he would have to sacrifice the one he loved the most.

Now, the young man is haunted by the spirits of his late sister and mother. He says his mother appears to him in his dreams, blaming him for her daughter’s death. Worse still, the secret society he joined continues to demand another human sacrifice, threatening that if he doesn’t comply, he will die.
