Adeleye ended his sojourn in Israel after spending six years with Hapoel Jerusalem.

He is now looking forward to establishing himself in the Cyprus league with Enosis Neon Paralimni.

Adeleye said, “I’m grateful for this opportunity, and it’s a privilege to be here. I believe so much in the team, and I’m looking forward to a remarkable season.”

The 24-year-old was grateful to Hapoel Jerusalem for the opportunity to play for the club.

He said, “A big thank you to Hapoel Jerusalem for your support. The good six years with the club weren’t a waste. Thanks for encouraging me to keep striving for the best. You’ll forever remain in my heart,”

Adeleye was a regular for Hapoel Jerusalem all through his stay in Israel. It was his impressive performances for the club that attracted the attention of the Super Eagles handlers.

He was called up to the Super Eagles team in June 2022, but he made his debut a year later in the 3-2 win over Sierra Leone.

Adeleye had earlier represented Nigeria at the U-17 and U-20 levels.

He was left out of the squad that represented Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
