She chose the money for the reason that even her mother would understand her choice since she would spend out of it herself. She added that her mum on getting out of prison would need money.

asked if she would like her own daughter to do that to her, she affirmed because she would understand why it is so.
She even stated that she would accept twenty or three million million in exchange for her mother’s freedom. She however declined five hundred thousand as that amount was too small.
