Iran’s currency has hit an all-time low, and it’s largely due to the continued US sanctions that have been in place since 2018, initiated by former President Donald Trump. These sanctions have severely limited Tehran’s oil exports and access to foreign currency, dealing a significant blow to Iran’s economy.
