According to Angel Ufuoma, the cerebral actress and co-producer of the star-studded movie: “’American Japa’ boasts of a stellar cast comprising some of the brightest minds in Nollywood.
“They brought their wealth of experience as seasoned and trusted role interpreters to bear on this fast-paced and gripping movie that chronicles the lives of two desperate women and their unending hustle out of the ghetto.”
Among the top actors who starred in the movie are Toyin Abraham, Odunlade Adekola, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Bolanle Ninalowo and Segun Arinze.
Others are Jide Kosoko, Wunmi Toriola, Yemi Blaq, Tina Amuziam, Jumoke Odetola, Lizzy Jay and Ronke Oshodi-Oke.
‘American Japa’, which hits cinemas across the world on 6th of September, was written and directed by veteran filmmaker Tony Abulu, who also doubles as its executive producer.
