The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Warri South local government area, Weyinmi Isaac Agbateyiniro, has been declared the chairman-elect after securing 52,928 votes in the election held on Saturday, July 13. According to DSIEC Returning Officer for Warri South, Faith Lori, a total of 57,023 valid votes were cast during the election. The number of accredited voters was reported as 60,400, with 791 votes rejected.
