Kilba Community in Kaduna Honors Margaret for Exceptional Service to Humanity

The Hoba (Kilba) Christian Association (KCA), Kaduna Main Branch, has celebrated one of its outstanding daughters, Margaret Kwa’ada Julius, for her remarkable contributions to humanity and her unwavering commitment to the service of God.

Margaret Kwa’ada Julius, is a native of Udong village in Pella District, Adamawa State, and founder of the Eye Opener Youth and Women Foundation, the Tobacco and Substance Abstinence Club and Njirhoba multipurpose foundation.

Mrs. Julius received the prestigious award during a grand ceremony held at the HEKAN Headquarters, Katsina Road, Kaduna, on November 30, 2024, at the event chaired by Wing Commander (Retired) Dr. C. L. Womdeo, and attended by dignitaries and members of the Hoba (Kilba) community of Adamawa state in Kaduna.

The award recognized Margaret’s relentless efforts in drug demand reduction through prevention programs, her humanitarian initiatives, and her advocacy for the welfare of children and youth. Her exceptional work has garnered her numerous accolades over the years.
These numerous accolades include the “World Health Organization (WHO) No Tobacco Award for Africa Region (2021, 2022 and 2024), winner. The 2024 Global Award for Prevention and SUD Training from the Ecolink Institutes of Wellbeing, India. The Award for Impact by the Ark Movement Nigeria”.

Others are “The Award for Excellence and Service to Humanity from the African Institute of Waste Management and Environmental Studies, respectively.

In presenting the award, KCA highlighted Margaret’s generosity, dedication, and transformative impact on lives, particularly among vulnerable populations.

“This honor is a reflection of her steadfast commitment to God and her tireless service to humanity,” stated the organizers, emphasizing that Margaret’s achievements inspire hope and positive change within and beyond the Hoba (Kilba) community”, they stated.
