Manuel Ugarte is undergoing a Man United medical on Tuesday after the club had a £50million bid accepted, sources have told Football Insider. Football Insider revealed (August 23) that the Premier League side were reluctant to pay the £50m asking price for the midfielder but they have since agreed a package that includes an initial payment topped up by £8m of add-ons.

Meanwhile, Scott McTominay, 27, is set to undergo his own medical at Napoli on Tuesday as the Scotsman completes a £24.5m move to the Serie A side.

The defensive midfielder featured regularly throughout last season, making 37 appearances, 34 of which were from the first whistle, in all competitions for PSG.

The Premier League giants have been in the market for a new midfielder all transfer window and they seem to have got their man as they prepare to challenge for a top-four place this season.
