The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has officially announced the opening dates for the mid-season transfer window for the 2024-2025 season.
The NPFL mid-season transfer window will commence on January 6th, 2025, and will remain open until February 5th, 2025.
This designated period is crucial for clubs as it provides them with the opportunity to bolster their squads by bringing in new players to enhance their performance for the second half of the season.
Teams will have the chance to assess their current line-ups and make strategic changes to improve their competitiveness as the 2024-2025 season progresses.
As the first half of the season comes to a close, today’s match will see Enyimba go head-to-head with Bendel Insurance in Aba, a highly anticipated clash that will conclude the first stanza of the league.
Following the completion of match-day 19 fixtures, the NPFL has planned a three-week break. This pause will allow teams to regroup and prepare for the upcoming challenges of the second half of the season.
Note that Remo Stars have emerged as the leading team at the end of the first stanza, finishing atop the league table with an impressive total of 36 points accrued from 19 matches played. Rivers United finished the first stanza of the campaign in the second spot with 34 points in 19 games.
