The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Temitope Ajayi, in a post via X, claimed that Atiku and Obi are edging on the rioters with their double speak, unlike in the UK, where the opposition leaders are uniting behind the government and calling for the arrest of protesters destroying properties.
He said,“Every politician in UK, including opposition leaders, are uniting behind the government in strong terms and unequivocally calling for the arrest and prosecution of rioters hiding under protest to destroy lives and property.
“Nobody is hiding behind a finger. In Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, a former Vice President and Mr. Peter Obi are literally edging on the rioters in Nigeria with their double speak.”
