Ambassador Dagogo, who has formally declared to contest the Bonny local government area chairmanship seat in the election, said time has come for the people of his local government area to embrace democracy and contribute to the development of the area

To motivate youths for active political participation, Ambassador Fubara Dagogo, a former councillorship candidate for the Bonny local government election on the platform of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), in 2011 and APC Bonny State Assembly candidate in 2019, has volunteered to purchase Councillorship forms for all intending aspirants in all the twelve electoral wards in the local government area, irrespective of their political, ethnic and religious affiliations.>>>CONTINUE FULL READING HERE

The youthful aspirant, noted that his gesture is aimed at returning his Bonny local government area to it’s real owners, even as he emphasized that the recent Supreme Court ruling which granted full financial and administrative autonomy to elected local government officials should be appreciated and motivate youths and stakeholders to restore their faith in the system

He said, “This is the time for the real owners of the hinterland to come out and take back their possession. My gesture to pay for the councilorship forms of all youths and stakeholders who would want to seek elective positions is my humble contribution to promote the development of my local government area

” I believe in the youths and stakeholders. I don’t want to know their political party of affiliation. All I want is to help in raising the real stakeholders who would lead to the desired development of Bonny local government area.
