The Deputy Apex Leader of the APC group, Mr Jude Idimogu ,in an interview with the News Agency of

Nigeria(NAN)in Lagos on Saturday,described Ubah’s death as shocking.

NAN reports that Ubah, who was the Chief Executive Officer of Capital Oil,died in London on Saturday morning at 52 years.

Ubah, who was re-elected into the 10th Senate under the Young Peoples Party(YPP), had last year defected to the All Progressive Congress.

Idimogu ,who also described the death of Ubah as devastating ,said the South East had lost a great pillar with his demise.
“He was a patriotic and a generous person.When I was in the Peoples Democratic Party, he partly sponsored my political career and did that for others too.
“We are still in state shock about the death of a man who was committed to making Anambra an APC state.
“He was a great philanthropist who did a lot for the people of the state.” he said.
