The senator’s initiative comes in response to the rising healthcare needs among the less privileged, aiming to provide essential medical services at no cost. The outreach will be carried out by an experienced medical team led by Chief Consultant Doctor Wadinga Dauda, alongside a group of over 80 medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and laboratory scientists.
Doctor Wadinga Dauda shared insights into the services that will be offered, highlighting that the medical team will provide free medications for prevalent conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and malaria. Additionally, they will conduct surgeries for various ailments, including hernias, appendicitis, lipomas, hydroceles, goitres, fibroids, ovarian cysts, breast lumps, and offer eye examinations. “We are committed to bringing medical care directly to the doorsteps of our people. Our goal is to ensure that no one is left behind,” he affirmed.
