In a groundbreaking initiative aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of his constituents, Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, representing the Adamawa Central Senatorial District, is set to kick off a comprehensive 6-day Free Medical Outreach.

This highly anticipated program will run from November 13 to November 20, 2024, focused on the residents of Gombi, Girei, and Fufore Local Government Areas.

The first phase of the outreach will be conducted at designated cottage hospitals in each locality: Gombi on the 13th and 14th of November, Girei on the 15th and 16th, and Fufore on the 19th and 20th, commencing at 8:00 AM each day. This initiative aims not only to provide crucial medical treatments but also to promote preventive healthcare and early intervention strategies.

Healthcare professionals will be available to perform various free surgeries, including hernia repairs, appendectomies, and treatments for conditions such as lipomas and fibroids. The outreach will also offer essential screenings for malaria, blood sugar levels, hepatitis, and other critical assessments, ensuring that constituents receive comprehensive healthcare support.
