1. **Dial *346#** on your mobile phone.

2. Select the option for “NIN Modification.”

3. Enter your 11-digit NIN for verification.

4. Choose the detail you want to update (e.g., Name, Date of Birth, Address).

5. Enter the new details and double-check that they are correct.

6. You’ll receive a confirmation code via SMS. Enter this code to finalize the process.

7. You’ll get a message confirming that your NIN has been successfully updated.

Note: If you need to change the phone number linked to your NIN because your phone was lost or stolen, you’ll need a police report.

1. Log in: Start by verifying your NIN and logging into the portal here.

2. Go to the Dashboard: Select the option for date of birth modification.

3. Make Payment: Complete the payment using Paystack.

4. Validate NPC Certificate: Enter your National Population Commission (NPC) certificate number, which will auto-fill your date of birth (you can’t change this once filled). If you don’t have a birth certificate, you can get an online birth attestation from the NPC.

5. Upload Documents: Submit your NPC certificate and any other required documents.

6. Review and Submit: Check the attestation box and submit your request.

7. Receive Modification Slip: A transaction slip will be generated immediately.

8. Get Notified: Once approved, your updated NIN slip will be sent to your email or can be printed from your dashboard.
