The Super Falcons have been honoured as the Women’s National Team of the Year at the 2024 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards, marking their second consecutive win in this category.
The award ceremony, held in Marrakech, Morocco, celebrated the Nigerian women’s national team’s consistent excellence on the continental stage.
President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, accepted the award on behalf of the team.

Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie was shortlisted for the Women’s Player of the Year award, reflecting her outstanding contributions between the posts.
Furthermore, Nigerian champions Edo Queens were nominated for the Women’s Club of the Year, underscoring the depth of talent in the nation’s women’s football.
