Military had opened its surrendering corridors to those that had expressed interest to surrender
The Director of Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. Edward Buba, made this known while briefing newsmen on the operations of the military on Thursday in Abuja.
Edward stated that the military had opened its surrendering corridors to those that had expressed interest to surrender.
According to him, terrorists knew that they cannot match the military strength.

“We are opening a surrendering corridor for that purpose,” he said
This development marks a significant milestone in the country’s ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and ensure national security. With a force of over 230,000 active personnel, the military remains committed to protecting Nigeria from external aggression and internal threats.
