According to family member statements shared with Fox News Digital, Knight was deeply loved by his partner Hayley Wright, his family and friends across the globe. “He was only 54 and having the time of his life,” one family member said. “He was fit, healthy, happy, and had everything going for him. He was charismatic, funny, passionate, and so very loved by Hayley, his family, and his friends all over the world.”

The untimely accident has thrust Wright into a whirlwind of grief and logistical challenges, as she navigates through the complexities of losing a partner who was an Englishman with Australian residency living in France. Joanne Allen, Wright’s sister, has established a GoFundMe

page to assist with the mounting expenses. “Hayley is now living her worst nightmare and facing life without Tony, her soulmate,” Allen writes on the fundraiser page. “She is in Bouillac having to deal with the difficulties of Tony being an Englishman with Australian residency living in France, arranging a funeral, covering hospital expenses, meeting police detectives, doctors, and the mayor, visiting the accident site, and sorting Tony’s estate, all while experiencing a crushing amount of grief and disbelief in a foreign country.”

Beyond his talent for comedy, Knight was also renowned for his compassionate work as a “Dog Listener”. His website proudly notes his impact on thousands of dog owners worldwide, advocating for humane and non-forceful training techniques to address problematic dog behaviors. “He helped thousands of dog owners all over the world solve problem dog behavior with simple techniques that use no force, pain, domination, drugs, or gadgets,” the website states.

Through his roles both as a comedian and a dog behaviorist, Tony Knight made notable appearances on numerous television and radio shows. His comedy set “Mad Dogs and an Englishman” was performed internationally, and he was on the brink of starting a string of shows in the United Kingdom before his life was tragically cut short.

As the comedy world grieves, Knight’s legacy lives on through the laughter and kindness he spread during his lifetime.
