At the moment, no mutation is known to cause throat cancer. But there are things that might make you more likely to get cancer. But if you don’t want to be a victim, you shouldn’t do any of these four things:

1. Too much smoking: Cigarette smoke not only kills smokers, but it also makes them unable to speak, which makes them die. There is a lot of evidence that smoking causes cancers in the esophagus, throat, mouth, and pharynx. If a person smokes more than 20 cigarettes a day, their risk of getting laryngeal cancer doubles. Researchers and medical professionals say that you shouldn’t drink more than two drinks per day if you want to lower your risk of getting cancer from drinking.

3. Eating food that is bad for you: If you don’t eat enough, you’re more likely to get cancer of the hypopharynx. Some studies show that people who eat a lot of junk food are more likely to get cancers of the colon and the respiratory tract. This includes the lips, mouth, tongue, nose, and parts of the throat and windpipe. Women who had gone through menopause were more likely to get lung cancer than women who hadn’t. Women were more likely to get liver and breast cancers than men.

4. Chemicals that are bad for them: Wood dust, paint fumes, and some chemicals can all raise the risk of laryngeal and hypopharyngeal cancer in people who work in the metalworking, petroleum, construction, and textile industries. Asbestos, a mineral fiber, was once used as an insulator in a lot of different things. People who have been around asbestos are more likely to get lung cancer and mesothelioma (cancer that starts in the lining of the chest or abdomen).
