She mentioned that the Speaker of the House, Honourable Martins Amaewhule, had led the peace walk, and that by midday, everyone had gone their separate ways. That the bombing occurred at the Presidential Hotel on Aba Road and the peace walk in Obio Akpor Local Government was her main point.

“I actually understand that it was a peace walk and not a protest,” she continued in an interview with Arise TV. Pro-Wike demonstrators and chairmen of several local governments had already covered most of the territory. I believe this one, though, was for the Obio Akpor Local Government, from which the FCT minister hails.

Speaker Martins Amaewhule addressed the throng and journalists as they led the peace walk. As for when they returned home, I believe it was before twelve.
