Shettima who made the claims during a one-day working visit to Jigawa State on Wednesday, said the President
Bola Tinub administration was determined to create more opportunities for Nigerians with similar interventions.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has initiated multiple interventions for SMEs, which have generated over 300,000 businesses and will provide over one million jobs within a year,” Shettima was quoted as saying.
But the statement from the Vice President has raised dust among social media users who have asked the VP to mentioned some of the businesses and jobs the government has created.
Some X users also accused the VP of lying even more than former Information Minister, Lai Mohammed whom many believed employed lies and propaganda to a great extent during the administration of ex-President Muhammadu Buhari.
