Maj. Gen. Christopher Musa, Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, confidently stated that democracy is an enduring principle in the country. He emphasized that the Armed Forces of Nigeria bear a sacred responsibility to safeguard the people and uphold the constitution.
Speaking at the 16th International Defence Industry fair in Istanbul, Turkey, Maj. Gen. Musa highlighted that, just as darkness cannot dispel darkness, only light can bring illumination. He stressed that globally, legitimacy should never be overshadowed by illegitimacy.
