BREAKING: Presidential Election Petition Tribunal Judgment Likely this Week

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal will deliver its judgment on the election petition filed by Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) this September.

No confirmed date from the tribunal but from the grapevine September 6 is believed to have been fixed for the judgment.

Petitions before the tribunal are challenging the election of Tinubu as president of the country.

The petitioners alleged that there were widespread irregularities and malpractices in the election, which they said affected the outcome of the final results.
