Convener, Prayer and Support For the Nigerian Armed Forces and other Security Agencies PSNAFSA, Ambassador Mary Abayomi-Fatile said, this became necessary following the doggedness with which terrorism and other violent crimes in Nigeria is being tackled.

Speaking at a press conference in the Ikeja, Lagos, Ambassador Fatile noted that, : Come rain, come shine, these people are there. As I speak, these military personnel are in the trenches, jungles and creeks protecting us and the nation’s assets.

“Some of them have not gone home for years, let alone seeing their loved ones”. She adds.

Mrs Fatile therefore, appealed to Nigerians to always show love rather than castigating and critizing them.

Speaking further, Fatile said, “it would be nice to also extend the love to the personnel’s extended family .

” In the United States of America, security agents are celebrated and honouredhonoured” she stated.

She expressed condolence to traditional rulers and people of Tudun Biri community in Igabi Local Government area of Kaduna State, that lost their loved ones.

In an emotional laden tone Fatile, said,the Lord Almighty will comfort them and heal the wounded ones.
