Mohammed Auwal who was posted to Mani Camp in Katsina State on 26th April, 2023, found his missing rib during the 21 days of camp orientation. He is set to now wed her on 18th February, 2024 in Ikotun, Lagos State, Nigeria.
The ‘soon to be bride’ (Miss Zainab Adeshikemi) was also posted to the same camp for her training by NYSC. It was there that AUWAL caught a glimpse of her and since then the rest is history.
Both of them were members of Platoon (6) so it was quite easy for them to meet. Auwal made a notice of his marriage to Zainab when he posted on the WhatsApp group chat of his platoon, along side a wedding invitation card.
He received so many congratulatory messages from his mates after he made the post.
These were the words of AUWAL in the post he made: “Alhamdulilah. Let’s celebrate a new beginning together! Join us as we walk into the alter to take covenant oath as husband and wife and share in the excitement.
“Be our guest on the 18th February, 2024. AUWAL&ZAINAB God bless you as you honor our invitation”.

The Invitation
After announcing his marriage plans, one amongst his colleagues showed a sense of surprise as to how he watched them in camp and thought it was just a camp relationship. He wrote: “Masha Allah I could remember when we were in camp, I commented on their relationship, I thought it is just a camp relationship and now God made it. Masha Allah. Congrats and we all wish you happy matrimonial home”.
