Solomon Dalung claimed in his statement that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was among those who demonstrated against the elimination of gasoline subsidies. He said that Muhammad Buhari, the former president, participated in the demonstration.
He stated, “In 2012, Tunde Bakare, Shehu Sani, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Muhammadu Buhari protested against the removal of petroleum subsidies while Goodluck Ebere Jonathan was president.
