During the swearing-in ceremony of at least 12 commissioners over the weekend, Aiyedatiwa warned the new cabinet members against engaging in corrupt practices and urged them to avoid actions that could negatively impact the state’s affairs.

The governor emphasized the need for the new appointees to justify their appointments through dedicated service, stating that his administration is committed to accelerating development and ensuring good governance in the state.
The newly inaugurated commissioners include Segun Ayerin, Olaolu Akindolire, Alhaji Amidu Takuro, Banji Ajaka, Boye Ologbese, and Sunday Akinwalire, among others.
Aiyedatiwa stated, “You must excuse corruption or any act that is not conducive to good governance and overriding public interest.
I implore all friends, families, and well-wishers of the new appointees to refrain from putting undue pressure on them.”
