The Coordinator of the group, Engr Boma Banigo gave the indication in Bonny during the Simplified Movement’s thanksgiving service to celebrate the Supreme Court and electoral victories of Governor Fubara.

Recall that penultimate week, members of Simplified Movement, Bonny Chapter joined their counterparts across the State to celebrate both the electoral and court victories of Governor Fubara.

The epoch-making event held at the Industrial Unit Field, Bonny attracted an unprecedent crowd, and was characterised by merriment including singing and dancing to the admiration of everyone present.

In an interview, Banigo expressed happiness and satisfaction over the turn out of his people, especially those from his group, Not Too Young To Lead Initiative, which he is the Coordinator.

He hinted that his members are drawn from the various wards in the local government area to galvanise massive grassroots support for Governor Fubara.

He said the group was formed in 2016 to institute good governance, protect and project the interest of the members and their welfare.

Banigo explained that his group is in total solidarity with the Governor as he gets prepared to deliver the dividends of democracy to Rivers people, saying the thanksgiving service was in celebration of the victories recorded by the enviable and amiable Governor, describing the event as worthwhile, contending that the Not Too Young To Lead Initiative is on the same page with the Bonny people.

He expressed optimism that the current administration in the State would link communities in local government with road infrastructure.

“Bonny needs to be connected with road projects as the city is over crowded and increasing in population, we plead with our dear son to give us road projects that will connect all nooks and crannies of the island. It is unfortunate that the immediate past administration in the State for eight years did not site any project in Bonny despite our resources. It is our hope and belief that as a proud Ibani son, Governor Fubara will swing into action”, he said.
