In an Instagram post on Friday, the Igbo actress featured in Yoruba films described some of her difficulties as a single mother.
The actress, celebrating her daughter’s birthday, revealed that Chiamaka had to put in extra effort to be well-behaved because a single mother and widow raised her.

In her long message, she wrote: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HER MOTHER’S DAUGHTER. IT IS YOUR 23RD BIRTHDAY, DEAR DAUGHTER, AND I AM WRITING YOU THIS OPEN LETTER FROM MY HEART.

Dear daughter, thank you for imbibing all the training and nurturing that was giving to you as you grew into the young adult that you are today, thank you for not bringing me shame thank you for graduating, thank you for being my daughter, thank you for the laughter and joy you bring into my life, thank you for always hailing an cheering me on, thank you for understanding that you are been raised by your widowed mother and you needed to put in extra effort to be that child no one will point at, and say she is bad behave cos she is raised by a single parent thank you for making it easy for me to be your mother.
