She met a man, got into a relationship, and later on, they got married. Life was okay, but her husband was delaying to have kids although Monicah wanted a child.
One day, Monicah noticed symptoms of being pregnant. After being examined, the doctor informed her she was pregnant. She was excited, but upon telling her husband, she didn’t believe what her ears heard.
Her husband told her to abort her child, but she refused. The man didn’t provide financial support to her even after giving birth to their child. She stated that she started having nightmares and seeing strange things in the house. Curtains would move, and it was not windy.
She informed her husband and her in-laws who advised them to relocate to another house. Things became worse because while asleep, she could wake up and find her husband lifting his hands on her head. When she asked what he was doing, he could say he is not the one.
When they visited her in-laws, he could mistreat her in front of them, but they never asked what was wrong with their marriage. She continued to fight the spiritual battles by praying and consulting pastors who prayed for her.
She narrated incidents where she had lost her eyesight, another one when her legs were paralyzed, and when people used to refer to her as an old woman. She prayed and applied anointing oil which she had prayed for and recovered.
She then started collapsing, and that is when she decided to quit the marriage. She never wanted to die and leave her children without a mother.
