Prominent political commentator, Deji Adeyanju, has once again stirred controversy with a fresh tweet, this time concerning the exchange rate of the Naira against foreign currencies.
In recent days, reports have indicated a significant depreciation of the Naira, with its value rising above N1,400 against major foreign currencies. Bushradiogist reports that at the time of writing this article, the exchange rate has even climbed close to N1,450.
It was revealed by BBC over a week ago that the CBN Governor had been utilizing the country’s reserves to bolster the Naira’s value.
Deji Adeyanju, through his social media handle, took a jab at the current CBN Governor, Cardoso, criticizing his failure to stabilize the Naira naturally. He also called out Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser, and the anti-graft agency for their previous collaboration in the arrest of Binance executives.
