Fast-emerging Nigerian winger Zadok Abu Yohanna is quickly establishing himself as one of the most promising young talents in European football, following an impressive start to life with AIK in Sweden’s top flight.
As per transfermarket.com, the 18-year-old right-sided attacker has combined pace, creativity, and confidence to stand out early in the 2025/2026 season.
His breakthrough campaign in the Allsvenskan has seen him feature in all three of AIK’s matches so far, contributing one goal and two assists.
Notably, Yohanna has been included in the starting lineup in every game, playing 98 percent of available minutes and registering a goal involvement rate of 60 percent—an indication of his growing influence in the team.
These performances have naturally sparked interest beyond Sweden, with several top European clubs monitoring his development.
Among them, German giants Borussia Dortmund are reportedly leading the race, alongside Ajax, RB Leipzig, and Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
His current market valuation is estimated at €500,000, a figure that could rise sharply if his form continues.
Yohanna’s rapid ascent reflects a steady progression through the ranks, having joined AIK’s U19 side earlier in July 2025 before earning promotion to the senior team within weeks.
Prior to his move to Sweden, he developed his skills at Icon Allah FA in Nigeria, where his performances first attracted international attention.
As speculation around his future intensifies, Yohanna remains focused on his immediate responsibilities with AIK.
The young winger is expected to feature in the club’s upcoming league fixture against Degerfors on April 23, a match that offers another opportunity to further strengthen his growing reputation on the European stage.
