BREAKING NEWS: Makinde Declares For 2027 Presidency

According to a report by The Nation on Thursday 14th May 2026, Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has formally entered the race for the 2027 presidency, announcing his ambition under the Allied People’s Movement (APM) platform. Makinde made the declaration on Thursday at Mapo Hall, Ibadan, where he also launched a political initiative tagged the Reset Nigeria Movement, alongside a campaign website aimed at coordinating supporters, volunteers, and policy engagement across Nigeria and the diaspora.
