Rivers: Fubara Made History as First APC Governor Denied Re-election – Jega

A public affairs analyst, Mahmud Jega, has stated that Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has made history by becoming the first All Progressives Congress (APC) governor to be denied a re-election bid. Jega made the remark on Friday night during a live interview on Arise Television while discussing Fubara’s last-minute withdrawal from the APC gubernatorial primary election. According to Jega, the development was not surprising to those who had followed events in Rivers State over the past three years.
