BREAKING NEWS: APC Post Primary Crisis Continues as Two Lawmakers Dumps Party

According to report by Vanguard on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, the Nasarawa State House of Assembly has recorded the defection of two lawmakers from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP), following dissatisfaction with the outcome of the party’s recently concluded primary elections.

The Speaker of the House, Dr. Danladi Jatau, announced the development during Tuesday’s plenary in Lafia after receiving separate resignation letters from the affected legislators.
