During an interview on Channels Television on Sunday, April 12, 2026, Dr. Dominic Alancha made strong remarks about the internal structure and legal handling of issues within the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
He expressed disappointment over what he described as the party’s failure to properly interpret and apply its own constitutional provisions during key political and leadership decisions. According to him, this has raised questions about the competence of some of the processes within the party.
Dr. Alancha stated that although the ADC is made up of individuals with political and legal experience, their recent actions suggest a lack of careful attention to procedural and constitutional details.
In his words during the interview, he said: “When you look at the ADC, you think they are stars, but they are twinkle twinkle little stars.” He continued, “This is an ADC that have experienced politicians, that understand party management, that have experienced lawyers, how come they did not look at the constitution of the party properly before taking over the party.”
