Lere Olayinka has criticised some members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), including Seyi Makinde and Taminu Turaki, accusing them of disregarding court rulings amid the party’s ongoing leadership crisis. Reacting to portions of a Supreme Court judgement, Olayinka said the court strongly condemned what it described as disobedience to valid court orders and the growing tendency among political actors to engage in “forum shopping” in the PDP dispute.
He referenced the ruling, said to have been delivered by Justice Nwosu Iheme, which nullified the PDP convention held on November 15 and 16, 2025.
