Long before the winners were announced at the 12th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards on Saturday night in Lagos, films like “The Herd,” “Gingerrr,” “To Kill A Monkey,” and several commercially successful Nollywood titles had dominated conversations online.
