Mrs. Nonye Soludo, the wife of the governor of Anambra State, has praised nurses in Nigeria for the good work they do in hospitals. She said nurses are kind people who help sick patients feel better and give them hope. She said this on Tuesday during the celebration of International Nurses Day 2026, which is celebrated every year on May 12.
Mrs. Soludo said nurses work very hard every day and night to take care of people. She called them “heroes” because they help save lives and support families and communities.
