JUST IN: “I Will NEVER Disappoint You” Mrs Akpabio Declares Senate Ambition In Akwa Ibom Political Showdown

According to a report by Leadership Newspaper on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, Mrs Pat Ibanga Akpabio, daughter-in-law of Senate President Godswill Akpabio, has officially declared her intention to contest the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District seat in Akwa Ibom State under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Her declaration sets up a notable intra-family political contest as she moves to challenge for the Akwa Ibom North-West senatorial position ahead of the 2027 general elections.
