2027: You Are Not Our Candidate — Oyo SDP Warns Saheed Oladele to Stop Self-Proclamation

The Oyo State chapter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has cautioned one of its governorship aspirants, Hon. Saheed Oladele, popularly known as _Baameko_, to desist from presenting himself as the party’s candidate for the 2027 governorship election.

The warning was issued at a meeting of the party’s state executives, local government and zonal leaders held in Ibadan on Monday. Members were also briefed on the ongoing upload of the party’s candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, portal ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Addressing journalists after the meeting, the Oyo State Chairman of the SDP, Michael Okunlade, said Oladele attended to apologise to party members over what he termed previous misunderstandings.Read More Here>
